The Advisory, Consiliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) is the employment relations service for England, Scotland and Wales offering practical, independent and impartial advice to employers, employees and their representatives. The site also has a list of Trade Union websites.

Community Legal Service
The Community Legal Service (CLS) website includes information on finding solicitors and legal advisors and free leaflets on employment, welfare benefits and debt.

Disability Rights Commission (DRC)
DRC is an independent body set up by the Government to help eliminate discrimination against disabled people and to promote equality of opportunity. The site contains a significant amount of campaign and resource information.

DTI - Employment Relations
The Employment Relations Directorate at the Department of Trade and Industry is responsible for the National Minimum Wage legislation. The website has a detailed guide to the National Minimum Wage, including a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs).

Employment Tribunals
Employment Tribunals resolve disputes between employers and employees over employment rights. The website has information on how to apply to an employment tribunal and what to do if you have to appear before one.

The Equal Opportunities Commission is the leading agency working to eliminate sex discrimination in Britain.

Greater Manchester Pay and Employment Rights Advice Service
Provide free, confidential employment advice, information and support to anyone in Greater Manchester who is experiencing problems at work or who wants to know what their rights are.

Local Government Pay Commission
This independent Commission investigates issues relating to the pay and reward of local government services staff.
National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux
Citizens Advice Bureaux help people resolve their problems, including legal and monetary ones, by providing information and advice.

National Minimum Wage Helpline
The Inland Revenue is responsible for enforcing the National Minimum Wage.  They provide a confidential helpline for employers and other interested parties.  The number is 0845 6000 678.

Scottish Low Pay Unit
The Unit exists to assist low paid workers in Scotland achieve fair wages and conditions of employment.
